For Karapincha, we crafted a visual identity that echoes the interior design of their latest venue in Canary Wharf, blending tradition with modernity. Our approach was to visually convey the complexity of Sri Lankan family heritage in cooking while making it accessible for a contemporary, grab-and-go audience. The design captures the rich cultural narrative in a simple, digestible way, ensuring the brand remains authentic while appealing to today’s busy diners.
Our design approach started with a deep dive into Canary Wharf’s fast-paced environment. By analyzing foot traffic and the energy of the location, we identified how to create an eye-catching digital menu that quickly connects with customers on the go.
ENGAGING DIGITAL MENU
We chose a digital display to capture attention from the bustling station traffic, dedicating a third of the screen to a looping animation. This short video introduces the brand story and showcases signature dishes, turning waiting time into an engaging brand experience. With every visit, customers feel more connected to the restaurant and its vibrant Sri Lankan heritage.
